In January 2017, Long Realty Cares Foundation presented a check for $8,500 to support the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus, in memory of fellow Realtor and Long Cares Vice President Kelly Bequette. This donation was made possible by a grant from Long Realty Cares Foundation and a collection by the agents at the Foothills Branch Office, where Kelly worked.
Kelly’s passing in November 2016 was a terrible shock to everyone that knew him. He was a man of outstanding character and generosity, and always had a smile and kind word for everyone he encountered. Kelly was a big part of the Long Realty Cares Foundation Board and truly brought out the best in people. Kelly was involved in many local charities and efforts to make our community a better place for everyone. He had been a long-time supporter and past Board Member of the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus, and it was natural that funds would be donated there in his memory.
